AU Financiers Established in 1996	Rajasthan-based NBFC offers auto and SME loans, loan against property and insurance services; founded as L N Finco Gems, changed name in 2005
Capital Local Area Bank 2000	Punjab-based local area bank started by offering services in Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur districts; later expanded services to Ludhiana and Amritsar.
Disha Microfin 2009	Based in Ahmedabad, provides microfinance products and services to rural, semi urban and urban women in Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP and Karnataka.
Equitas Holdings 2007	The Chennai-based MFI for the unbanked is into financing vehicles and homes, also operates retail stores, school, etc in rural areas.
ESAF Microfinance & Investments 1992	Chennai-based organization is into microcredit, insurance and business services like skill development for economically backward sector in Kerala.
Janalakshmi Financial Services 1999	MFI-turned-NBFC is based in Bengaluru and has presence in 15 states; is into loans to people and SMEs; backed by Morgan Stanley, Tata Capital, TPG.
RGVN (North East) Microfinance 2008	Guwahati-based NGO-turned-MFI offers loans and savings products and has presence in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Nagaland and Sikkim.
Suryoday Micro Finance 2008	Navi Mumbai-based NBFC provides individual and group loans to low-income customers in Maharashtra, Odisha, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan and MP; backed by IFC- World Bank, HDFC.
Ujjivan Financial Services 2005	One of the largest MFIs in India with over 400 branches; provides a full range of financial services to the economically active poor to build better lives.
Utkarsh Micro Finance 2009	Varanasi-based MFI offers group, micro-enterprise and home loans; present in UP, Bihar, MP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, HP, Haryana and Maharashtra; backed by Norwegian Microfin Initiative, Commonwealth Development Corp.
